Today in Masonic history Juan Bautista Alberdi is born in 1810.
Alberdi was an Argentine political theorist and diplomat.
Alberdi's writings were of a major influence on the political landscape of Argentina. His two books Bases and starting points for the political organization of the Argentine republic and Elements of Argentine provincial civic law were the basis of the Argentine Constitution of 1826. Both books were influenced by and comparisons to the American Constitution which was created only 50 years before.
